Since May 2023, initially called NANOBROWS AMSTERDAM and founded by Brazilian Natara Rocha, BROWS VENUE brings a new concept about brows to Amsterdam. Our specialty is in brow treatments from epilation, reconstruction and semi-permanent makeup. With around 7 years of experience in the world of brows, the owner of the salon has more than 20 specializations in the area with courses ranging from brows to visagism and trichology, the study applied to hair health. BROWS VENUE is a salon that seeks harmony between the natural and semi-permanent, always aiming at long-term safety and skin integrity, respecting the natural characteristics of each face without following exaggerated trends. Our entire team of specialists follows rigorous training and constant qualification to together deliver the best results for our clients.
PROCEDURES
Contrary to what many people think, NANOBROWS is not the name of a technique, but rather a term used to refer to nano, smaller, or smaller. There are several techniques on the market, several technologies and styles, but in the end, what matters is not the name, but the result. For me, semi-permanent makeup should be natural and not a makeup effect. We should think of eyebrows as something natural and for everyday use, in harmony with the face, and not as something marked, dark and with a standardized shape like a stamp. I believe in uniqueness and that eyebrows are capable of transforming a face, for better or for worse. In these more than 7 years working with eyebrows, I have seen many trends, many fashions and in the meantime many destroyed eyebrows and deformed faces in an attempt to achieve a standard that should not exist. Believe me, your eyebrows do not need to be arched or dark to be beautiful.
Here at the salon, our entire approach is focused on not only beautiful eyebrows, but above all healthy and natural ones. We combine constant care with semi-permanent makeup, always thinking long-term to deliver results that do not leave scars or turn into a gray or blue block in a few months. The goal of my technique combined with the client’s care is to bring more filling and harmony and as the color lightens and comes out of the skin, the hairs become stronger and healthier and can also grow more.
NANOBLADING is the evolution of microblading. In this technique, we manually draw the hairs, one by one in an individualized and personalized way, following the natural shape of each client’s brows, aiming to bring more volume and fill in gaps. The technique is not performed in cases such as: mature skin, eyebrows with many gaps or clients who do not have natural hairs because for a beautiful and safe long-term result we need the natural hairs throughout the eyebrow to bring a blending effect between the hairs designed and the natural ones. Without natural hairs, no micropigmentation hairs technique is capable of promoting naturalness and color security over the months. Durability varies from 1 to 2 years, because our immune system eliminates the ink over the months and this varies from one person to another due to several factors.
SOFT POWDER BROWS is my shading technique that also brings a lot of elegance, sophistication and naturalness to eyebrows. With SOFT POWDER BROWS I can restore the shape that brows that have been plucked too much over the years have lost. The technique allows me to work in a personalized way, as its color density depends on the number of layers we make. If you like more drawn eyebrows, and are used to applying them with pencil or makeup every day, this is the perfect technique for you. There are no restrictions for this technique. All skin types, eyebrow types and regardless of age. It’s a result as natural as NANOBLADING, but of course, with another purpose. Durability varies from 1 year and a half to two years, depending on the intensity of color used, but it is also a safe long-term technique where the color lightens over the months.
SPA SHAPING BROWS is your regular shaping but even better. In this exclusive eyebrow care protocol, in addition to cleaning the excess with tweezers, some care is essential to keep your eyebrows healthy, voluminous and wonderful. Exfoliation to remove impurities, makeup residue and dead skin and fortifying phytoactive shampoo are essential in our shaping. In addition, with each treatment we alternate the use of some keratin and amino acid replacement serums and masks according to each client’s needs. Spa shaping brows are also available in dye and browlamination treatments. Shaping with tinting can be done monthly and browlamination every 45 DAYS.
