For us, semi-permanent makeup should be natural and designed for a face without makeup. PMU is used to solve gaps and shape issues in an emergency manner, and when combined with our exclusive protocols and home care, it becomes an ally in the journey to improve the appearance of the brows, without making the client dependent on maintenance, since it is important for us that the colour dissolves and comes out of the skin completely or almost completely within 2 years. It is important that we keep in mind that this is a safe long-term procedure, which does not cause damage to the skin and does not produce grayish, bluish colours or colours that turn into a solid block after some time. Therefore it is a procedure with relatively low durability. Our focus is not on durability though, but on naturalness.
Here, each case is assessed individually, and all the client’s characteristics and complaints are taken into consideration when outlining the best route to achieve the best result. We understand that each person is unique, and so are their needs and expectations
There is a myth in the eyebrow world that the MICROBLADING technique causes scars, which is not true. Scars can be caused by any technique, regardless of the mechanism used, since what determines a scar is not the trauma to the skin, but rather its depth. Therefore, what causes scars on the skin is not the technique, but rather the lack of knowledge in physiology. Not all skin types can withstand certain types of trauma, and not all skin types have positive characteristics to withstand a stroke procedure, regardless of the technique. This is because skin elasticity and hydration are fundamental factors for a beautiful result in the short and long term. Knowing the struggle that many people face with their skin, whether due to rosacea, eczema or intense dehydration caused by the northern European climate, we seek to guide our clients in choosing the technique in a personalized way, seeking approaches that will best suit the final result and also be the safest option for their skin.
All of our PMU clients who show positive responses to our care protocols receive guidance and even home care to improve natural growth. Perhaps, as the ink leaves the skin, more hairs grow, making it often unnecessary to repeat the procedure after 1 or 2 years since the eyebrows show a significant improvement in the amount of hair, shape and filling. Our commitment is to naturalness and long-term safety.
If you have doubts about which technique is best for you and what best suits your skin type and natural eyebrows, book a consultation. We do not carry out consultations or semi-permanent procedures on clients who have already undergone this procedure previously, regardless of the technique or the time it was done, even if the client removes it with a laser.

What should I do or not do before my SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP appointment?
- Stop using products such as retinol, glycolic acid or any other skin care product that accelerates the skin's natural renewal process.
- It is important not to expose yourself to the sun intensely and for a long time for at least 30 days before the procedure, as this can cause tanning of the skin. Sunburned or tanned skin will not absorb the ink, the inflammatory process will be increased and the durability of the procedure will be reduced.
- Do moisturize the skin, especially the eyebrow area. Dry or dehydrated skin does not absorb ink.
- Do not undergo BROWLAMINATION or HENNA procedures for at least 30 days before the procedure.
- Do not consume drugs or alcohol for at least 48 hours before the procedure.
- Procedures such as peels, lasers, botox, microneedling or facials in general should be done with an interval of at least 2 weeks in between.
What should I do or not do after my SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP appointment?
- There should be no intense and prolonged sun exposure for at least 7 days after the procedure. After this period, the use of sunscreen is mandatory.
- You can WASH the treated area normally with soap and water. The information about not being able to wash the treated area for 3, 5 or even 7 days is not correct. It is a wound and must be cleaned.
- Suspend wet sports such as swimming, sauna, hot yoga for at least 2 weeks. Other regular exercises such as the gym, cycling or walking can be performed normally one day after.
- Do not use products such as retinol, glycolic acid or any other type of skin care that accelerates the natural renewal of the skin.
- Follow the aftercare guidelines indicated by the professional on the day of the procedure, such as hygiene and hydration, to optimize the healing process.
- In the case of NANOLIPS/LIPS - Avoid spicy foods for a week. Hot drinks such as coffee and tea should only be consumed through a straw. Kissing on the mouth should only be done after 5 days.
frequently asked questions
How long does it last?
Durability varies from 1 to 2 years, depending on skin type, age and immunological factors. Habits such as smoking, medication use and high sun exposure can contribute to shorter or longer durability.
What happens to the ink in the long term?
Is the procedure painful?
The pain is relative and depends on each person’s sensitivity, but in general the procedure does not hurt. The client feels the needle touching the skin, but since it is a superficial procedure, the discomfort is less than plucking the hair with tweezers.
Can pregnant women have it done?
Although it is a superficial and calm technique, the procedure is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. The procedure can be performed after the baby’s first year of life because at this stage the hormones are more balanced and the skin has returned to normal.
I had a PMU procedure done a few years ag, can I do it again with you?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Even if the client has had laser removal, I do not perform procedures on those who have had it done before. This decision is made not only because of possible incompatibility of inks, but also because I would not be able to deliver the same result on skin that already has ink, in addition to the possible scars and skin damage that most people experience after PMU performed by other professionals.
Can I decide on the technique?
In some cases, it is possible for the client to have the final say and choose the technique according to their personal taste, but most of the time this is a decision made by the professional after an evaluation and conversation with the client, analysing their skin, their natural eyebrows and their expectations. The technique is strictly chosen with the best short- and long-term results in mind.
How often do I need to touch up?
Touch-ups are done after 30 to 45 days. After that, it is a new procedure and can only be done after at least 1 year or when the colour has lightened by at least 80%. We do not work with an annual maintenance schedule here, as this type of practice ends up accumulating many layers of ink and causing colour changes and solid effects.
I dye my eyebrow hairs. Is that a problem?
Absolutely not a problem at all. Our blonde clients usually choose to dye their eyebrows to increase the contrast. As long as it is not too dark, we can try to find a similar shade to maintain the same tone.
